The structure previously stood tall for Multiple decades known as The Korean baptist church. With the work of many and generous donations from our very own local Muslim brothers and sisters the building was quickly converted in 2020 to what it is known as today, Madinah Masjid.

With open hands we welcome all our fellow Muslim acquaintances from around the nation with one common goal in mind, the spread of Islam throughout the world.

The purpose of the Center is simply to be a source of guidance and knowledge from our well trained and decorated imams. It is a center catering to the needs of Muslims, helping us Muslims fulfill our Islamic obligations and spiritual needs as well as to promote Islam within and outside of the community through a solidified applied model in accordance with the original teaching of Quran and Sunnah.

What started out in a small rented prayer hall in a basement on Sawyer , the ‘Chicago Muslim Sunni Society ’ decided it was time to expand. Slowly but surely, year by year, the Masjid began to make progress towards a positive direction. Fully returning all debt on ( insert date) The masjid looks to make larger progressions in years to come. Although the past may have been filled with hurdles to cross the future seems to be at its brightest.
